Description: This course aims at better understanding of the physical phenomenon of tidal waves including the origin and generation. The analysis and prediction techniques of the tidal forces will be explained to enable prediction of the horizontal and vertical tide. Setup of the tidal hydrodynamic models based on the tidal hydrodynamic forcing in frequency domain will be given.
