Description:
The principles of Remote Sensing courses introduce the essential concepts and techniques of remote sensing. They consist of two main parts; a theoretical part that focuses on the concepts, and a practical part that aims at developing hands-on skills in using some software packages tools; e.g. ERDAS Imagine.
The Spatial Referencing course will throw the light on the different spatial references and coordinate systems. It will describe the procedure of geometric correction of the satellite images and image rectification by technically managing various image corrections and referencing tasks. The course will include spheroids, and ellipsoids, in addition to the common map projections used in Egypt.
